The Greedy Feeder Feed Cover is an easy to use feed cover that helps keep food or food bowls from being waterlogged or covered in snow. Helping to keep food for birds and hedgehogs dry on your patio or paving throughout the year.
Designed and manufactured in Great Britain the Feed Cover measures 220mm high (around 9 inches) and 250mm in diameter (10 inches) . The Feed Cover consists of 6 opaque rain panels mounted on a plastic tripod base with aluminium legs. Each aluminium leg is fitted with a plastic pad which features a fixing hole for an optional plastic spike and a hole to allow a tent peg (not supplied) or similar to be pushed into the ground to secure the feed cover if required. Especially useful during high winds.
The Greedy Feeder Feed Cover has been designed for all year use.
The Greedy Feeder Feed Cover is made with as many recyclable materials as possible. 3D printing is used to manufacture the Feed Cover and the black plastic version listed above is made with 90% recycled food safe PET plastic from waste streams such as plastic food containers and drinks bottles. Aluminium and Stainless steel are used for the metal parts. The black plastic version of the Feed Cover is more resistant to UV radiation, and therefore fading. The Greedy Feeder Feed Cover is available on request in other colours, but currently only the black version is made with recycled plastic. The Greedy Feeder Feed Cover is delivered in a non printed (part recycled) double walled cardboard box and has a bio-degradable bag protecting the Feed Cover. Supplied with 3 plastic spikes and fixing screws (minimal assembly is required).
The Greedy Feeder Feed Cover not only helps your feathery and spikey visitors but the planet as well.
As a 3D printed process some minor surface imperfections may be present on the plastic parts but
this will not affect the long service of the Feed Cover. Over prolonged time the UV effects of the
