Braille 30cm Ruler - White

An accurate 3D printed 30cm braille ruler which features raised and coloured markings. 
 
Excellent for children and adults who need just a little more help when measuring and drawing straight lines. 
 
The tactile ruler is 30.7cm in length, 3.2cm in width and is 3mm high and features tactile markings on both sides of the ruler. The straight side of the ruler has tactile markings at 10mm intervals with an additional 5mm tactile mark located between each 10mm mark. The notched side of the ruler has tactile markings at 10mm intervals and each notch represents a 5mm interval. The notches are designed to help locate your pen or pencil when measuring or drawing a line. The braille and tactile markings are 0.6mm high and have a colour coating on each marking to add contrast. The braille is to the Marburg braille specification. 
Non slip silicone pads are fitted to the underside of the tactile ruler to help stop the ruler moving when drawing or measuring.
 
The Yellow ruler is made out of PETG plastic and the White ruler is made with recycled PETG (used in water bottles). The colour and protective coatings used on the tactile marks are non toxic and safe to use by children. The ruler is NOT a toy and as a consequence has not been tested to any toy regulations.
